Giulianna Delgadillo

Giulianna has hands-on work and research experience in social and environmental justice related topics, pursuing ecological and social transformation to strengthen local communities’ agency and rural women empowerment. Her career trajectory has led her to work on issues related to gender, ethnicity, agroecology, environment, economic empowerment and livelihoods. She is passionate about bringing diverse and bottom-up perspectives together in support of helping communities shape their territories as they dream of them. She has over ten years of experience in project management, gender advisory, communications, partnerships and organizational development in non-profit, social, and private sector organizations in Latin America and Europe. Giulianna holds a MA in Development Studies of the International Institute of Social Studies (Erasmus University Rotterdam, NL) and a BA in Psychology. Giulianna speaks fluent English, Spanish, Italian, German and conversational French and Portuguese.

Giulianna loves broadening her horizons by traveling and learning new languages, and deeply enjoys working in multicultural teams. The mountain and the sea are her best allies, as she enjoys hiking in the jungle and scuba diving. Finally, she is a worldwide foodie, dancer and yoga enthusiast.
