Yasmim Perreira

Yasmim Loiola Pereira is a Social Sciences student at the University of São Paulo (USP) and a youth leader from São Paulo, Brazil, working at the intersection of youth engagement, popular education, and civic participation. She began organizing in high school as student council president, mobilizing peers around social causes and supporting local NGOs.

A former student of a community-based preparatory course, she later joined the coordination team at Rede Ubuntu de Educação Popular, strengthening grassroots education initiatives. In 2024, she became a youth partner with Juventudes Potentes and contributed to GOYN’s Global Convening and the “Portraits of Youth” research project, connecting academic methods with lived realities. As a GOYN Authentic Youth Partnership Ambassador, Yasmim is committed to positioning youth as central agents in building a more equitable society.
