GOYN Bogotá 2026 Annual Report (Spanish)

The “Youth with Potential 2026” Report reaffirms its commitment to highlighting the barriers and structural injustices that young people face in accessing opportunities. This report is an evidence-based tool for decision-making by stakeholders in the ecosystem, aimed at driving systemic change in the city.
This year, the report places particular emphasis on collaboration as a driver of systemic transformation. This involves, on the one hand, strengthening coordination among the different types of stakeholders within the ecosystem, and on the other, understanding opportunities for collaboration with the private sector as an active partner in designing educational and income-generating opportunities. This commitment to collaboration is embodied, among other initiatives, in Polaris: the collective intelligence tool of the GOYN ecosystem, which helps highlight and strengthen the coordinated work among the organizations that comprise it.
The report was developed collaboratively, based on co-creation sessions with various organizations within the ecosystem that
contributed their knowledge and experience on each of the topics addressed. The first chapter presents an assessment of youth in Bogotá, with an emphasis on the “Opportunity Youth” approach and the intersectionalities that shape their life trajectories. It was developed in collaboration with the Zoraida Foundation and the organization Tiempo de Juego.
The second chapter, produced in partnership with the Zoraida Foundation, analyzes the pathways to education and income generation for young people, identifying the main barriers and gaps they face on their journey toward quality opportunities. The third chapter introduces Polaris, a collective intelligence tool from the GOYN ecosystem, which delves into the importance of collaboration among the various stakeholders in the ecosystem, presenting an up-to-date overview of how these partnerships and projects work together to connect young people with real and transformative opportunities.
Finally, the fourth chapter focuses on collaboration with the private sector, highlighting opportunities for connection between young people and businesses as key actors in expanding access to quality income-generating pathways.
