GOYN Rio de Janeiro: Um Rio de Jovens Report 2024 (Portuguese)
Report of the study "Um Rio de Jovens" abut youth perceptions and demands for the city of Rio de Janeiro
The survey Um Rio de Jovens is an initiative of the Decola Cria Youth Advisory Group (YAG- GOYN Rio), conceived within the framework of the UNICEF City Agenda and in technical partnership with CEDAPS.
The aim of this study was to strengthen the process of political advocacy in favor of priority demands that affect the personal, social and professional development of young people in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Recognizing the leadership role of youth in meeting these demands, the survey questionnaire, as well as the mobilization to fill it in and the data analysis, was developed by young people.
The questionnaire (instrument) was designed by the YAG and covered 10 priority areas for youth:
- Urban Mobility
- Technology
- Discrimination
- Inclusion
- Citizenship
- Security
- Environment
- Employability
- Education
- Health
This report contains the analyzed data resulting from this study and was presented for the first time during the launching of DECOLA Cria in September 2024.
