Meet Sipho Marco Tembe a professional social worker and HIV and AIDS Counselling Course Facilitator/ Trainer from Durban, South Africa. Mr. Tembe and his team are passionate community change drivers, committed to eradicating Gender Based Violence and Femicide within the country and promoting a violence free life. Mr. Tembe and his team have been vigorously trained in facilitating GBV&F prevention and awareness programmes which target all. They have been engaging men and boys, victim of GBV and communities on prevention or in fight against inequality.Mr. Tembe and his team recognizes that men and boys are integral parts of change and are often victims of the very same socio-cultural norms that create GBV. It acknowledges that men are often socialized to be violent and to commit acts of violence. These youth and young professionals has embarked men and boys Programme with the goal to eradicate Gender Based Violence in communities within the eThekwini regions. The Youth Innovation Fund will purchase the materials that will enable the project to achieve its goal.
