Global Convening 2024

The Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN) is excited to invite you to join its Global and Community Partners, and Opportunity Youth Leaders from across the globe convening in Pune, Maharashtra, India for its 5th Annual GOYN Global Convening – November 17-21, 2024.

This year, we gather to forge stronger connections, deepen our learning, share our practices and mobilize our community-building efforts in real-time. We’ll hear from youth and community partners and learn about how GOYN is working to shift stakeholder mindsets and behaviors for more equitable outcomes and to tackle systemic barriers that impede economic opportunity. Together, we aim to create transformative change and advance the prospects of Opportunity Youth around the globe as we:

Join us LIVE during this in-person event with key moments for virtual participation*, where partners, opportunity youth leaders, and global allies will gather to facilitate conversations on the power of place-based collaboration to accelerate opportunities for Opportunity Youth.

*Select plenaries, panels, and performances will be live streamed for global participation via the Zoom Webinar Platform. Topics and timings to be shared in the coming weeks.

Sunday, November 17, 2024:

Opening celebration with 3,000+ young people from across India and GOYN partners and allies

Monday, November 18 – Wednesday, November 20, 2024:

Site visits, learning sessions, and masterclasses at Lighthouse Communities Foundation and partner locations

Thursday, November 21, 2024:

Internal GOYN partners learning sessions
