Gungun Hemaka is from Ramgarh, Jharkhand-India. She is 18 years old and has recently completed her intermediate studies. Since the age of 5, Gungun has been involved in Karate training. With the support of YIF, Gungun aims to train many young girls like her on self-defense and the fitness. These trainings would be instrumental in increasing the self-confidence, mental and physical strength of the young girls and the girls can be in charge of their own safety. YIF has provided Gungun a platform through which she is able to reach young girls across Ramgarh
